Final Project (Character Creation for Illustrated Stories)

Hello! :)

My name is Larissa Veloso, I'm 26 years old, born and raised in Brazil, and graduated as a Fashion Designer (altough I've never had the opportunity to work in this business). I started drawing when I was a teenager but never took it seriously and always had difficulty on the subject. I'm very creative and during the pandemic I discovered a passion for embroidery and even started to sell my work online.

Following some artists on Instagram, I started to become a lot curious about illustration and storybooks for children.
I've done some courses on Domestika before, and decided to search for a course about Children's Illustration.

P.S.: I started this course when I was 23 years old but I was too busy to focus on my hobbies. Now, 3 years later, I'm studying Pedagogy and working as an English Teacher. But I decided to start drawing again because it makes me happy and less stressed.

My drawing skills improved a lot and I finally finished the course. I realized that I prefer realistic drawing than storybook illustration.
