Aventine Hill in Rome

Inspired by a recent trip to Rome, my mom took to me to her favorite place in the world, a large staircase that overlooks the side of the Roman cityscape. I love gouache and wanted to give it a try and this seemed like the perfect class to go for it.

After editing in procreate, I was able to achieve a better color balance that more accurately represents my color scheme from Holbein’s Acryla Gouache. Also, I added texture to make it look like thicker paper and printed vintage aesthetic.
