Brown, worn, sheep-skin slippers, size 10.
Green, faded cotton pajamas, large, neatly pressed.
A library book encased in a tough plastic cover, a petrol receipt for a book-mark.
One pair of cheap reading glasses, Boots own brand, gold, wire frames, small lenses.
All contained in a well used carrier bag with stretched grubby handles; a bag for life.
