It was a struggle to be anatomically correct and I spent a lot of time with finding the place and proportions for the face features, and at the end the resemblance is not great for the reference photo, but it still looks like a person. :)
First I gave some values, yellow for the forehead, orange+pink for the cheeks and nose, blue+purple for the chin and neck. With the hair I was a bit lost, because there are some really bright locks in the shadowy parts, but I decided to lose them and make the shadowy block full purple.
For the darker values I gave more purple, and I wanted to have the bright orange eyeshadow from the reference photo. For the final look I made a background with the colors I used.
Overall I like how it turned out, even if the proportions are not great, but I love the colors and the placement of the lights and shadows are quite good. Maybe the shadowy part of the hair is a bit rushed and there's too much white in it, it could be smoother. The lips are the best I've ever drawn. :D
