Lag Bomer

Lag Bomer is a Jewish festival to commemorate the passing of the mystic Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. and the deliverance from a plague of the followers of another rabbi of the same era. Bonfires are lit said to symbolise the light of the teachings. I have lived alongside a Hasidic community for many years in North London and have now taken to documenting some low their local practices.
