I love the course because I think I can learn to give my portraits more meaning here. It's a big challenge for me to "destroy" a portrait after it's finished drawing. I didn't do well. Even if I know that it is important to get more depth of content. I will keep trying :-) . I made different attempts on the same motif to ttry out different techniques. I sometimes had problems with oil pastel, because it smears on the pencil and everything gets very dirty. I am totally fascinated by doubling or repeating the motif. I like this idea a lot. Thank you @dsegrove for all the inspiration.

@jackienoelle Hi, I just looked at your work and can only return the compliment. Your works are also incredibly great 👏! Thank you very much
Wow - your results are great. I love what you made of it.
I loooove the way you used the repetition of the model to create a narrative and it's so visually interesting and beautiful, congrats!
Love it! Makes me want to take the course too
@be_art_rice Thank you Bea for your great comment! I was very happy about it 🤗.
I just read your CV and think it's great that you're creative again after a long time. It was very similar for me and it was only through the Corona lookdowns that I found the muse to paint again.
@yolanda_vega thanks a lot. That encourages me a lot to keep going. 🤗
@annezwanenburg Hi, thank you very much. I also found the course very inspiring 😄
Fabulous artwork of a different stratosphere!
@haedude Thank you for your great comment. I'm glad you like it.
Incomprehensible!
One more energetic than the other. So much work must have gone into making so many variations.
I would be interested if I may ask: number 3 - did you customize the facial expression or 3 different series photos? I'm so thrilled- I couldn't tell what is "real" and what isn't, or if all 3 are from an on-camera reference. That leaves me puzzling, but it is also part of the excitement.
@melanie_sattler first of all thank you for your super nice comment (I'm grinning all over my face right now, which you can't see).
In the 3rd picture I adjusted the facial expression myself.
I think it was actually just the position of the pupils in the eye that changed everything all at once.
I found the original photo on unsplash, where photographers make their images available without a license.
On the other hand, I took 4 pictures of my work colleague with the pizza... until she noticed it ;-)
