Eels Blog, my public travel diary

Since 2015, I've gathered stories, thoughts, pictures and travel routes from my life into one place. A blog can be such a wonderful container and excuse to elaborate and remember past experiences. Through this work, I've also started to find my writing style and my aesthetic.

I gave this virtual place Eels Blog as a name, because I find the biological cycle of these animals (eels) very poetic. In a nutshell, eels travel incredible distances in search of optimal conditions, but in the end their instinct always bring them back to where they come from. Once back, however, they won't be the same anymore: they will have transformed and matured.

There are no particular rules concerning the form and the contents of this blog. These are excerpts from a travel diary, written first of all for myself and made public so that they can also be read by eyes other than mine.
