The concept behind this is simple, an astronaut crashlanding to a faraway galaxy and discovering a habitable planet.
I'm not sure how I feel about this, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. But surely I've learnt a lot from you Nick. Thank you so much for putting this course.
Said that, I request you to criticize this as harshly as possible.
Thank You.

Teacher PlusExcellent work! This is definitely one of my favorite pieces from the course and I absolutely love the composition that you created. This is a very surreal and otherworldly piece, and I think the concept is amazing showing this strange world that the astronaut has crash landed on. As a viewer you definitely get that sense of science-fiction and the image definitely draws you in with the all the great colors and details. The landscape-style composition is perfect and I think all the elements are placed very well and put together quite seamlessly. The color of the pinkish planets also creates a great contrast with the blue of the water sections. I think the airplane also looks awesome with the excellent detail of the astronaut to tell the story. In terms of critique, there are just a few things I want to make a note of for you to work on in the future. The composition and all the elements look fantastic and I think you have a great eye for image layout, color, and adding detail. One thing I would say is to try and make the waterline look more distinct so there is a clear separation from the above and below water sections. The placement of the planets looks really great and I might just try and make them a bit more integrated into the atmosphere by fading the outer ones more. And the only other thing I noticed is the fuzziness on the top lines of the airplane. I really like the weathered look but I would pull back a bit on some of the edges of the plane to make it look cleaner. So, those are just a few things that you can think about and you will definitely get better over time as you refine your techniques and work on more images like this. The most important thing is that you have a unique vision and I would say to keep cultivating your ideas and your work will really stand out. Overall, I think this is incredibly creative and intriguing and would look excellent as a book cover or art piece. I would encourage you to keep going and creating new worlds because I think you on to something great. Cheers!
