The brand and its design is based on authenticity through the appreciation of heritage. With me as the founder having had a Scottish background but bought up in South Africa, the sentiment of thistle within the detailed and classic logo design speaks to heritage. The classic text is not only timeless as are our pieces but it has sophistication, an element we would like to have appear in all our pieces despite a feeling of exuberance and expression through colour or pattern.
The brand exhibits an appreciation for the past while it is rooted in its present and aspiring for success in the future. All exhibited through expressive design, sentimental odes and in the celebration of current design, pattern and colour.
