About Boopos

Founded in 2020 by a team of technology and finance professionals, Boopos provides flexible financing for digital companies with a focus on acquisition financing. We help to buy businesses by providing long-term revenue-based financing without personal guarantees. Our process is streamlined to provide loans in 7 days and revolves around our proprietary B0012 scoring model, with the goal of assessing revenue recurrence and visibility.

We are a small team but we want to make a big impact: small companies are hugely underserved financially, and typically have access only to very expensive, very short-term financing opportunities. Buying companies and being a small business owner is even less accessible to entrepreneurs, wannabe managers or small companies that want to grow their portfolio. 500,000 small businesses are put for sale every year in the US alone and we can change the game and make the space more accessible for everyone.

About the Role

We’re seeking a UX designer to join us in our Madrid as we refine our customer centric approach to finance.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of the product.
- Understand the core audience and suggest flows that support their preferences.
- Create wireframes and mockups and present them to internal stakeholders and team.
- Work closely with engineering team and leadership.
- Stay up to date with the latest UX trends and incorporate them into the product.
- Manage user testing sessions and translate findings.
- Support a more holistic approach by providing services to the marketing team.

Job requirements

- Have at least 3 years of work experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
- You have a solid knowledge of wireframe and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision).
- You have experience working with developers.
- Have an understanding of the development lifecycle.
- Experience in designing B2C applications (experience working on DevTools - Advantage)
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- You have a portfolio of professional UI/UX design, demonstrating multiple examples of your work for web platforms.
- Team player and have strong communication skills
