Illustrating with story

“Before ending the course of "Illustration, link and outcome", we will see what steps we have taken to reach our destination. Illustration. After introducing myself, and showing you which authors have influenced my work, we have asked ourselves: what is the illustration? What function does it have? We are more than just decorators and we can transmit ideas. Knot. Here we have seen how we can convey those ideas. We have analyzed images of classic American illustrators that I especially like, seeing what they want to tell us through their compositions. And then I've shown you how I use the composition tool to convey my ideas. I've talked to you about Color Theory for Vagos, which is just a simple way to take advantage of the possibilities of color to help us express information and emotion. Outcome. And finally we have arrived at the moment of applying those tools that we have studied, illustrating a story by Edgar Allan Poe: The Fall of the Usher House. We have read it carefully, and in the brainstorming we have seen what ideas we were interested in transmitting, we have converted them into sketches and when we were sure they were good we made the drawing and the final art. And finally we have tried to be honest by having our work pass a test. I hope everything we have seen has served you. Remember that in our work we begin to illustrate before taking the pencil, we illustrate in our head since we read the text. But that does not mean I'm looking forward to seeing what you do when you finally pick up the pencil. See you in the forum! ”
