I've started multiple a couple of programming courses, but this one is really different. Not only do you learn to apply coding to create artwork, but the teaching style is very accessible and you get pretty cool results right from the start. This being said, I am glad I had some kind of basic knowledge of coding beforehand so I could follow more easily.

Good course for beginners on this topic.

With decades of programming for business, it is the first time I really use programming as a drawing tool. Eye-opening may I say. Definitely great course.

I really enjoyed working through this course - the video was very clear and understandable. Of course, all this information is available online in various places, but having someone bring it all together and point me in the right direction was perfect. I highly recommend it.

Can't stop till finish the whole course, very interesting, highly recommended for a graphic designer who wants to pick up web skills.

I'm torn about this course. It teaches a few interesting things but they are nothing like what you see in the promotion video.
The promotion video was made with three.js and other sound manipulation JS libraries, while in this course you'll be working with the canvas-sketch.js library.
My advice would be to check first the community page for projects done with what we learned. If that is enough for you, go for it. If on the other hand you expect something like in the promo, forget about it.

A good starter if you haven't dealt with canvas before. It may be too basic, however, if you are not a complete beginner.

I cannot recommend this course. It shows basic drawing on canvas, basic transformations, basic animation (using noise function) and literally one interesting visual with filling letter.
It is hardly a creative content that I was looking for in creating compelling visuals for webpages.
