Data Visualization and Information Design: Create a Visual Model

Good course, i find it inspiring and motivational. Liked instructor and her style of telling things. And this my first course from domestika and will mot be the last one.

Please do not use the actual data in the Axes. The labels on the axes should be taken in terms of the scale and not the values from your dataset. This will confuse the readers and also sometimes make them deviate.

Excellent course. Federica was as engaging, clear and measured as the designs she produces. I particularly appreciated the simplified, but sophisticated, introduction to data sourcing and analysis, as more complex approaches can be very overwhelming for beginners. As a professional illustrator and graphic artist, I also found her insights on how to combine raw data with precise graphic manipulation very helpful. Thanks Federica!

The course gives good insight into the creation and thought process behind artistic data visualisation. The additional materials provided were very helpful and good recommendations to read further about the topic. For the data preparation (e.g. joining of tables) I suggest to use a programming language like R or Python. It takes only 1 line of code to join two datasets., it's less exhausting and it will reduce the risk of commiting errors.

Me gusta mucho saber que puedo interpretar la información de forma mas didáctica y comprensible ya que a veces hay campos del conocimiento que son muy complejos de entender a primera vista. Y bueno, poder tener en cuenta las pasiones personales para plasmar en un proyecto gráfico lo hace realmente muy valioso.

En estos momentos estoy haciendo mi postgrado y es sumamente importante poder presentar mis datos de investigacion de una forma clara y visualmente interesante. Tambien soy disenadora y comunicadora y me era muy dificil presentar mis datos de una forma interesante visualmente. Ahora voy a intentar algunas ideas que tengo.
