There are many blending modes available in Photoshop, And Photoshop allows us to easily cycle through these blending modes to find the best fit for our project. Let me show you what I mean. So right now I have opened up this image of ramen soup in a spoon. It looks very colorful, tasty and appetizing. However, I do wish I was getting a sense of that heat that was coming off of the soup.
