You will learn to create the face of a character, in a very simple way, from basic forms. You will discover essential techniques such as how to join pieces and hide unions. In addition, you will add spots, a small nose and you will sew up the mouth.
You will transform this first character into a brooch, which you can wear in the place that you like, although Caro will give you some ideas to incorporate it into other types of projects.
Afterwards, Caro will teach you how to make characters with body and limbs. You will see the way to join each piece so that it is articulable and you will learn to add hair.

It will be then when you embark on the project of more difficulty. In addition to head, body and mobile limbs, this character will also have cheeks and eyelids, giving greater expressiveness.
You will learn to add color to the fur of your characters and to mix the fibers creating gradients.
Finally, Caro will talk about how she transforms her characters into an attractive product.

A course by Carolina Alles
Since she was a child, Carolina Alles (better known as Caro Indy), made clothes for her dolls. Today he continues playing with them, but in a different way.
He is a loyalist, specialized in needle felting or needle felting, a technique that allows him to sculpt in the fabric and create his own characters from nothing. But what makes his work more special is the way in which he manages to get his characters to express themselves and how he incorporates them into all kinds of projects from other disciplines.

Ik heb zeer veel bij geleerd. Leuke opdrachten. Duidelijke filmpjes. Alleen de nederlandse ondertiteling is zeer slecht vertaald. Het is vaak zo verkeerd dat het niets te maken heeft met de cursus. Maar gelukkig zijn de filmpjes van Carolina duidelijk genoeg
