“In this lesson, I will explain the important rationale behind image resolution. We will look at how InDesign treats the different sizes of images, and also works with different file sizes. So let's begin. Image resolution means the detail an image has. applies to all raster and bitmap images. As a general rule, the higher resolution of an image, will result in more image detail being represented.
