Who is behind STUDIOLAV and what makes them tick? In this unit, start by getting to know Loukas Angelou and Vasso Asfi and how they get inspired. Discover the key principles that drive their creative process.
Kick-start your project and begin building your story by conceiving a creative puzzle out of the information you gather. Understand how STUDIOLAV’S design identity informs its process.
Now that you know the key elements of an interior design project, go into more detail and discover how you can put it into practice for your task. Start by choosing your materials and colors.
Once everything is in place, it is time for your first presentation to the client. STUDIOLAV explains both the importance of this first presentation and the benefits of getting valuable feedback. These will be your tools as you move into the next phase, the development and final look of your project.
Start looking at how you can organize your drawings and other files to make sure there is a smooth transition from paper to reality and that your design work is produced in the best possible way. Finally, learn some tips about styling the space and make your project shine with some essential final touches.
Now it’s all finished and your project looks fantastic! It's time to share it with the world, inspire others, approach new clients, and embark on your next creative adventure. Good luck!

The course is led by a duo who are clearly at the top of their game and have won several accolades. The lessons are structured around one particular project of theirs, the SoHo Loft, commissioned by wealthy New Yorkers, and the clients' wealth is reflected in the choices made for the project. I would say the course is aimed more at aspiring design professionals than people who dabble with it/treat is as a hobby or are looking for renovation/design inspirations for their own homes.
