Start off by getting to know Marisa and how she created her brand: The Folky Fox. See how she began working with polymer clay and learn about the artists that inspire her work.

In the second unit, go through all the material you need and learn how to model with polymer clay. Marisa teaches the characteristics of the material, her favorite brands, and gives you some advice on how to store and bake your creations.

Create a mood board to find inspiration and start sketching your first ideas. See how to establish an effective methodology for modeling your pieces

Next, it’s time to get your hands dirty! Use your sketch as a reference to start modeling your three pieces of polymer clay: an owl, a rabbit, and a fox with flowers. Go through all the steps, from preparing your clay, modeling from base to the last details, and baking.

Move onto painting your items with acrylic paint. Marisa teaches you how to prepare a color palette and how to achieve different effects. Learn how to assemble your necklaces and protect your work with a layer of varnish.
