No previous knowledge is necessary, since Erika teaches you the technique and the basic stitches from scratch. As for materials, you need four drums or hoops of different sizes to embroider, thread, wool, scissors, and needles.

Ancestral is a brand that was founded in 2015 by Colombian textile artist Erika Pineda, who seeks to revive, expand, and consolidate textile art in a contemporary urban context. To achieve this, Ancestral works in two areas: creating hand-made artistic textile pieces, as well as teaching their own technique in workshops to share with others how they can bring their own ideas to life.
The work created by Ancestral is full of intricate details and are individually made so that the result of each piece is unique.
