Create designs and patterns using scale, color, and prints
Inés Aguilar—designer and creative director of La Casita de Wendy—has over two decades of experience transforming fabrics, colors, and shapes into patterns for colorful and original fashion collections. Her work has traveled the globe, and her brand has sold garments to well-known stores such as Anthropologie (USA), Cocktail (China), Peseta (Spain), and Lamp (Japan). She also shares her passion for textile design as a teacher.

A course by la casita de wendy
Inés Aguilar is the designer and creator behind the brand La Casita de Wendy, founded over 17 years ago. She’s developed collections to sell internationally in prestigious stores such as Anthropologie in the EEUU, Cocktail in Hong-Kong, and Lamp in Tokyo.
At La Casita de Wendy, Inés and her team create garments with simple shapes, allowing the graphic designs or patterns printed on the fabric and the selection of colors and materials to be the real protagonists. Through viewing its garments as a unique medium of communication, the brand strives to tell stories with its designs.
Inés combines her role as creative director of the brand with teaching. She has taught in Madrid at the Universidad Europea, the Higher Technical School of Architecture, and the IED design school, where she currently directs the master's degree in textile and surface design.

So good!
This course was waay beyond my expectations. Ines charmingly guides you through taking your first steps in design through a thoughtful and playful explanation of making pattern designs, every step is simple and a joy to complete. I learned so much from her in an easy to digest bite size format, steps I anticipated being complicated were explained beautifully both visually and vocally. In short Ines was an AMAZING teacher and I wanna take all her classes!!!
