I like photography: it is one of my favorite hobbies, together with visual arts.
My initial approach, it was of that type: first understand the operation of the “machine” that is the camera and then practice, self-taught. Books and magazines before, when I used the “analogic film” and then the web with more or less authoritative advice and explanations, up to online tutorials … today you find everything and for all tastes and interests. When I shoot, I prefer to study the composition already in “machine”, during shooting: this helps me to focus on the subject, observe the various compositional elements, and to enclose them together. I prefer black and white .. I think it’s more effective, more impact … also because it reminds me of the first film shots.
