My project for course: Visual Development: Illustrate Imaginary Settings

The Plot
An old lion owns a gym inside a tree trunk in an equatorial forest. Unfortunately, it lacks young clients and athletes because it is dirty and outdated. The lion wants to renovate the gym. Should he forget his past entirely or preserve some of it?

Character's Attributes
An old lion lives alone, his hunched back preventing him from exercising. He relies on several crutches to get around and spends most of his time smoking a pipe, making him a collector of wooden pipes. He often plays chess by himself, reminiscing about his younger days when he was a renowned bodybuilder with impressive muscles. He cherishes his medals and trophies. His loyal old dog lies near the door all day, keeping him company.

Character's Environment
A dark and old gym houses worn-out equipment made from forest wood or discarded trash. Some windows resemble basement windows. The gym has a reception with a table and a wall behind it, adorned with photos from the lion’s youth and his medals and cups. A chess set and his pipes rest on the table. The floor and ceiling are moth-eaten, and worn-out punching bags hang from the ceiling.
