Melda Güzel

I’m Melda Güzel, an industrial designer with experience in projects that range from custom furniture to functional sculptures. Along the way, I’ve built skills in 3D modeling, prototyping, and working with a variety of materials.

Design, for me, has always been more than problem-solving—it’s about creating things that carry a sense of life and rhythm. Over time, my connection with the sea has naturally drawn me towards yacht design. Right now, I’m focusing on improving my rendering and modeling abilities, while also getting back to the basics of hand sketching and strengthening that side of my practice.

I joined Domestika because I see it as more than a learning platform. It feels like a place to get inspired by different disciplines, exchange ideas, and push my perspective as a designer. For me, this is part of laying the groundwork for the next steps I want to take in the yachting industry.
