Talofa lava/Kia ora. Hello. Greetings from New Zealand. I am of Polynesian decent Samoan/Maori . I have been a proffessional live gigging musician for over 40yrs with no formal music education other than the old skool watch and learn. Have been involved in all facets of the music industry from session bassist,composer,band leader,solo artist,backing musician,TV & Radio and music tutor. In 2015 I got the opportunity to travel to the USA with a NZ original cultural band Te Vaka to perform an original theme song called We Know The Way for Walt Disney's Moana animation movie at the D3 Expo in Anahiem California and also record some of the music for the movie featuring Dywane(The Rock)Johnson. The last few years I've had the passion to want to write for short film,TV and Film so am getting my composing skills together. I always love to challenge myself and keep learning. I am currently a music tutor at The MPAC(Mauao Performing Arts Center) in Tauranga where I teach bass guitar and guitar to students who's ages range from 7years to 40yrs+.
