Lorrie Boydston

I am an artist and an art teacher. I currently teach a textiles art course at a middle school in Suburban North Kansas City. My interest in Sashiko comes from an interest in embroidery and sewing from my late mother who was a seamstress. Sewing is a nostalgic art form for me. I have enjoyed learning about different cultures through the art of stitching. I love the patterns, rituals and philosophies that are handed down through stitching.
