Clara Meier

I was born and raised in Germany, but decided to go to Ireland after I finished my studies in German and English literature. Here I started working as a Video Game tester. In 2020, I moved to Japan, Tokyo where I continued my job, but in another branch office.
Writing has always been a part of my life. With 12 I started writing pen and paper stories with a friend of mine - and never had stopped since. We have created characters which are now almost 20 years old and we still write stories with them.
In my opinion, a story is mostly carried by its characters. If a character's behavior does not feel natural, or natural I lose interest of the story very quickly. In fact, I think one of the biggest challenges in creating characters is being consequent in their behavior, even though you, as the writer, will not like where this path will lead your story. It becomes interesting when you have the feeling that it is not your story anymore - but the one of your character created.
