I found the course very inspiring due to a number of reasons. First of all, much attention was drawn to creative approach and preparation for the project. Such a whollistic approach generates ideas useful in the process of creating a well defined story. The samples of thoughtfully illustrated books stimulate the viewer to investigate the subject matter deeply and they supply the ground for the best choices, i.e. colour palette, line, size, position, etc. The techniques presented are innovative

This course made such a difference for my approach towards creating and illustrating. Besides the techniques, which are explained in an easily understandable and appealing way, I learnt that ideas and freedom of mind are much more important than perfection. Although I'm German and the undertitles were in English, I didn't have problems following along and now I'm all ready to dive into my own process again and experiment with my new skills. Thank you!

Great course with very informative instructions and how to's.

I've taken MANY excellent courses from Domestika and this is among the best. Alejandra presents information in a clear easy to understand way. The 3 illustration techniques she includes are very interesting and would be sufficient for individual courses, but you get all 3 of them in one course. Her explanation about how to use color in book illustration is the best I've seen anywhere. I highly recommend this class.
