Non pensavo che questo corso fosse così meraviglioso. Avevo fatto un corso in presenza a Milano con un'insegnante giapponese che non mi ha trasmesso nulla se non tecnica fredda e rigida.

I am new to visible mending and was keen to learn about Sashiko. This course went beyond my expectations. I enjoyed learning more about the origins of Sashiko and the teacher's calm approach. The techniques were easy to follow. I also appreciated learning that Sashiko not about achieving perfection with the stitches. I have now used some simple Sashiko on two pairs of trousers needing repair and am very pleased with the results.

Atsushi Futatsuya does an amazing job of explaining the cultural history and artistry of Sashiko, as well as providing instruction on techniques. I really appreciate that he instills a sense of respect without being judgemental of how others may interpret or apply the art. Thank you Atsushi for sharing your knowledge and culture.

I have wanted to do a course on Sashiko stitching for a long time, this is good for me as a beginner. He shows you how to make your own designs. I have always found it difficult to finish my stitching and he shows you how to do this as well. V good.
