The artist provides helpful demonstrations of mixing oil paints and the use of tonal values in a painting. She gives clear explanations of how she approaches her work. I find her lessons easy to follow.
A good course

In general is a good course, but to be honest I got paralized in front of the canvas when I tried to paint something, I didn't know if I should use blue or green or any color, she doesn't talk about temperatures at all, so I didn't know what color to use on shadows or lights so I went with my instinct I wish I could have learned the "whys" when she applied the colors.

Good course. Very well structured and clearly presented in an easy-to-follow step by step format. I recommend this course.

Books and articles are helpful but watching how someone mixes and applies paint to canvas answers so many questions. As a beginner, this course helped me a lot.

This is an ideal course for a beginning oil painter. Jane is thorough and demonstrates everything in a calm easy to follow manner. I loved it. Will refer to it again for direction!

I'm still working through the course. I've been ill so its taking me a while to watch, otherwise I love watching Jane and I'm in love with her style. She is a great teacher!!

I had missed a portion of this course and gave a negative review. Jane contacted me and showed me where it was(my fault). Sure did very well and I give her 100% positive after I apologized to her.

Jane explique tout en détail, la progression est facile à suivre. Elle montre bien comment elle fait les mélanges de couleurs. Je me suis lancée dans la peinture à l'huile pour la première fois avec ce cours et le résultat est vraiment bien pour un début ! Jane répond à toutes les questions qu'on pose sur le forum, c'est important.

Even though I'm not a beginner, I found this course interesting and I picked up a couple of pointers. I liked her approach which was different from what I usually use.
