Stadtlandschaften in Gouache

What a wonderful and informative course. I’m a new fan of Tommy Kim’s work!! His instructions and process seem very approachable for a beginner as myself to gouache. I learned the importance of sketching out your scene before starting the final project. It really helped me to have a more solid plan moving forward. Now I just need to apply everything and keep practicing the techniques Tommy taught.

Tommy's paintings are so fresh, so alive, I couldn't resist taking his course, and I love his way of teaching gouache techniques, simple and straightforward. A must for anyone interested in urban landscapes.

One of the best courses!

Very interesting course! I loved the part about the different color schemes. It gave me a new perspective on gouache. The only flaw I think it’s in the editing.. color mixing during the final demo is not shown on camera. But other than that it’s really a great course, full of insights on how to think about using colours in your illustrations

Fantastic gouache techniques and color theory! Love this course!

I would recommend this course. I learned a lot from the instructor who is very good and talented.

However be warned that there is a lack of detail on the materials and the what colors were used in the final project.

My personal opinion is that it feels that Domestika showed a disrespect to their paying customers by withholding useful information (colors used, materials used ). Sure they did provided links to some items It’s a beginner class,if I’m not mistaken.

This course is truly excellent. Everything is clear, useful and the knowledge acquired can easily be integrated into any creative process.

I look forward to continuing to draw cityscapes.
