Kat Pong

I’ve loved the fiber arts since my mom taught me to sew as a child. Then finger weave, crochet, and crossstitch. As an adult I learned to knit from my aunt, how to spin yarn from friends, and just this last year, I’ve started to learn about sashiko. I also enjoy painting in acrylics and oils.

The yarn pictured in the cover photo was spun by myself on a spinning wheel and was featured in Ply’s online magazine.

I live in Maryland with my husband, kid, and two cats, and I spend every free moment I have crafting with my hands.
