Ylana Maria Gadelha Pitombeira Furtado

I am an architect and interior designer with a lifelong passion for art. Since childhood, I’ve been exploring creativity, and in 2008 I began developing my skills in realistic drawing. In 2018, I discovered embroidery, and in 2021 I found thread painting, which has become my main artistic focus. I am self-taught in my core techniques—realistic drawing and thread painting—and constantly refine them through practice and experimentation. As an autistic person with ADHD and advanced abilities in visual language, I bring a unique perspective and heightened sensitivity to my work. I also have a strong hyperfocus on animals and pets, which deeply influences and inspires my artistic creations. I am always eager to explore new techniques and expand my knowledge, blending precision, emotion, and innovation in everything I create.
