I loved art in my childhood and did a few painting classes in college. But then I focused on a career in science and medicine and abandoned art for 37 years. Now with recent retirement I have resumed my art journey. I work in acrylic paints now due to limited space and ventilation, and am drawn to portraits and figurative subjects.
