Urvi Sharma

Urvi Sharma is a furniture and product designer based in Providence RI. She completed her BFA in Furniture Design at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2017 and in 2018, co-founded design studio INDO- with her partner Manan Narang.
Urvi uses a layered design process, incorporating personal narrative, traditional techniques and modern ways of making into her work. Mirroring her experiences growing up in New Delhi, India and working for designers worldwide, her products connect with their audience in an increasingly diasporic world while embodying unique identities with the stories they tell.
In 2021, Urvi made her TV debut as a contestant on Ellen's Next Great Designer, a furniture design and build competition hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and streaming now on HBO Max.
