Anja Voigt

I work in kindergartens, with children from 1-6 years. The work with children is very inspiring, with a lot of chances to share my passion for art and creativity. My interest in different walks of life and how different people live in this world fascinates me, different cultures, different walks of life. That is why I like also to work in the social-world.
I am an educated pattern designer, but til now I never worked in that profession. I love drawing and especially watercolor, which I discovered at an early age. My parents always were very supportive to nourish the different interests of me and my brother, because they had a creative side themselves. At the weekends especially we would all sit in the kitchen and each one of us was painting, knitting,drawing or any kind of thing that was interesting at that time.
In the recent years I have learned a lot about mixed media, collage and new materials and I am always curious and happy to learn new things. I think one should never stop learning and studying.
