Branding Journey

These is my personal brand I’ve been working on lately. My goal is to empower travellers to make choices that protect our planet while embracing meaningful experiences. For the creation of these visual post identities, I have mainly used icons inspired on stock photos I’ve searched for. It is a minimalist way to represent my goal to travellers and people who advocate for eco-friendly practices.

I've used unsplash and pexels to get stock photos for my moodboard.
Also used Canva whiteboard to collect all elements in one page. Making it easier to play around with colors, typography, composition, and getting graphic elements that can support the design of my message and identity.

It all started defining the purpose of my personal brand - highlight ways to explore responsibly minimizing environmental impact and fostering a deeper connection with the places we visit. Based on it, I used the geometry method to explore concepts and elements that could work for my visual identity. At this stage, I focused on getting deep understanding of the message I wanted to communicate and from here I could get stock photos that represents my target, values and my voice.

Getting a list of words made easier to get the visual universe of the brand. Here I explored stock photos and this leads me to define the palette colours and typography. I aimed for nature colors but in a smooth way, keeping connection - softness and hope in my message.

The photos in my mood board have inspired me to explore elements that effectively communicate my message. I started experimenting with Canva’s design tools, playing around with different elements to create a well-balanced composition.
I enjoyed this process because it allowed me to refine a minimalist approach to conveying the essence of my personal brand. On top of that, I’ve designed a logo that represents the circle of the world, the bridge between the unconscious and conscious journey, and the 'H' in my name.
