Phil Meeks

I taught international relations at the university level for almost 40 years and was blessed to travel extensively in Europe (lived many times in France), Caribbean & Central America, Israel and Japan. I've done mostly alabaster sculpture, stained glass and acrylic painting. I am the oldest of seven children and was the first in the immediate family to graduate from college. I was also the first to earn a doctoral degree. I've been married to the same person for 46 years, have four children and seven grandchildren. Retirement and distance from family has been a real challenge.
