I was a writer rather than a drawer as a child and continued with this into adulthood, but then when I was mode career discovered patchwork sewing. I started this got bored with following patterns and fell into surface design on fabrics. I love graffiti and eventually I found my style making graffiti inspired textile art. I always say that I did this because I couldn’t draw. But then I found Danny Gregory’s work and the Urban Sketching community had I began to try. I have only dabbled because I have been doing other things. Now I am retired early from my profession, aged 50 and working on my coaching and training business part time I have more time me for me, for creativity and travel and getting better at sketching and just doing more for the enjoyment is something I now choose to start doing.
