Miroslava Atanassova

By background I am a scientist, microbiologist. Have always loved plants and nature and have been attracted by biology and art since my adolescence. I started painting around the year 2000, when I was 28 years old and my daughter was just born. I am self-taught and started by portraying my daughter with oil colors on a large canvas. I have since improved my painting process for oils colors, and have tested acrylics, watercolors and cyanotyping. My technique currently focuses on cyanotyping and acrylic printing on custom made paper or aluminium. Colors are what attracts me most in art.
