Marcella Bacellar

I graduated in Industrial Design at Puc-Rio in 2009, where I specialized in product design and furniture design. Then I did a Masters in Interior Design at ELISAVA (Escuela Universitaria de Diseño and Ingeniería de Barcelona), where I believe I have found the fundamental balance to transform spaces and create products using a rich palette of materials. Back in Brazil, in 2011, after gaining experience in respected national and international offices, I founded my first office in partnership, and in late 2014, I launched a solo career giving rise to Marcella Bacellar Studio - @marcellabacellarstudio. In 2015 I entered the decoration show “Casa Cor Rio” where I was responsible for one of the largest spaces in the show. Since then, I have been carrying out interior design projects for different segments, commercial and residential, in addition to developing exclusive products and furniture with a lot of creativity and a strict care for details.
