Kevin Santiago

Born on June 20, 1994, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. His academic background started in a town called Coamo, where he discovered his passion for arts. Graduated from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón (USC) in San Juan, Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in Arts of Communications with a concentration on Photography and a minor in Graphic Arts. In his last year of school, he served as president for the Photograph Society of the USC (AFUSC). Two of his greatest accomplishments were: organizing the first photomarathon of the AFUSC and coordinating the first annual exhibition of the photography department at a museum, both were held in San Juan, Puerto Rico. 

In October 2018, he was chosen to be a part of the National Geographic team during their visit to Puerto Rico for a documentary on the year after the disastrous Hurricane Maria. Today, he assists great photographers in the industry with different background and expertise, like; Reynaldo Rodríguez commercial photographer and cinematographer, Jeileen Ocasio fashion and commercial photographer and Juliana Morales food photographer who also specializes in food styling. 

He is open to capture all kinds of photography that challenges him, but he likes capturing intimate moments of couples and families interacting while being themselves. He is passionate about commercial photography and in the future, he would like it to be one of his strengths.
