Alejandro Escobar

Alejandro Escobar is a Colombian plastic artist based in London. He began his artistic career 16 years ago while still living in Medellín, Colombia. From the beginning, he decided that painting and drawing would be the main tools he would use to tell his stories. As the years went by, those stories became more complex; This led him to challenge the formal attributes of the image through digital technologies. Today he creates Meta-Images; hybrid sculptural pieces that can be observed as objects and enjoyed as immersive experiences in Virtual Reality.
