I was very much into photography during the 70's but then professional life took over. I recently defended my thesis in pain management as medical doctor, and similarly I finished building a large garage and converting a transporter into a camper-van. This means that suddenly there is a lot of spare time. The only time I have been painting was during medical school during the 80's when I painted anatomy pictures in order to better memorize. Instead I have been building houses, made some rudimentary leather work (tacks for the horses I was riding) and sewing clothes for my self and my kids. But lately I have been interested in painting and most of all aquarelle. I have a sister that is an architect that makes fine aquarell-paintings, I have a brother in law that makes fantastic oil-paintings, and I have attended courses with Cecile Hansson to learn some of the techniques. But I like the sea, and I like animals, horses, dogs, and I like humans. And I have tried some paintings based on short poems I've written, trying to grasp the feeling.
