Jakob Grote

Hi, my name is Jakob, I live in Antwerp, Belgium.
I have a background as pianist with classical and jazz education. In the ‘90ies I worked for 10 years as composer/arranger/engineer in a professionally equipped recording studio and played in several bands for over 35 years.
I am currently self-employed and working (among other things) in the movie sector (location- and art department), I had the epiphany of trying to bring those two worlds together!
I’m also very interested in Foley, would like to know more about supply and demand in Belgium.
I’m excited about this course and love the way Simon Smith approaches it!
