Having worked in engineering all my life, constrained by the necessity for accuracy, precision, function and practicality, discovering this course has combined my general interest in buildings and structures with a new, liberating approach in how they may be depicted. I love that there is no need for straight lines or flat, even colour, indeed, gaps, crossed lines, overlaps and white bits are all part of the charm of this approach to illustration.
