Hello! Welcome to my page:)!

I am originally from Macau, though I have spent much of my working career in Shanghai and London. With a background in advertising and packaging design, my love of illustration drove me towards painting food and I am inspired by the beautiful patisserie, seasonal vegetables and many other things that I find in everyday life.

My works are primarily created in watercolour and ink – two flexible mediums with an expressive, emotive feel to them. My palette is contemporary, and surface pattern is something I love and pay a lot of attention to.

My style is fluid and expressive. There is a touch of impressionism about my work as I encourage colours to bleed into the paper just the right amount. A strong focus on key details makes each piece realistic – essential when depicting complex foods.
