Daniele Caviglia

Hello,
my name is Daniele Caviglia, a freelance illustrator based in Palermo.
I've been a freelance illustrator for 10 years and I've worked on multiple projects especially comic books, illustrations and cover art for books. About my background and experience I've graduated from the Art School and Fine Arts Academy during the school era and this gave me the first basic skill in developing anatomy, perspective and design knowledge.
In 2017-2018 I worked with a little agency called Simbryo in the development of "Man Of Honor" video game (available on Steam).
My responsibility was to illustrate the story lore progress in 45 single shots.
Immediately after that, I started a 1.5 year collaboration with TGComics and my responsibilities were to illustrate books by various writers in about 150 complete illustrations , per book. This gave me the opportunity to take care of different aspects of what's behind a book. Cover art, headers, etc.
In parallel with this I did comics for private clients but the most important experience in this was with "Leviathan Labs" publishing. In Leviathan I've drawn a 140 pages graphic novel called "Paradise Lot" , a more complex project with a big team behind. This story went out in December 2021 and I was involved in promotion at comic fairs with the publishers.
Lately I've started to work in two commercial NFT projects. One of them with Redlion Studios, a brand new NFT studio specialized in magazines and comics. The other one is mostly a private studio formed by developers, illustrators and copywriters that are making a collectibles profile pic project where I practically took care of all characters' aspects, traits last summer and now I'm finishing their website
including illustrations and logos.
There are plenty of minor experiences in these 10 years, basically private commissions or shorter collaborations. Every one of these experiences (especially the last) helped me develop skills in teamwork, problem solving and clear communication.
