I was always amazed with the wildlife and botanical watercolor art. During a free time while being on a vacation I simply started to paint and I found the works of the author of the course. Everything was so inspiring for me - color palette, details, textures. The style exactly matches the one I was always referring to. Something what is naturalistic and detailed and also artistic and bright simultaneously. And this course gave me the possibility to try everything this by myself. Recommended!

Deze cursus is een aanrader. Ik heb meerdere cursussen over aquarel gevolgd maar hier weer hele andere dingen geleerd. Vooral het stuk over kleuren is een eye-opener. Ella Sienna is een hele goede docent, ze legt je alles heel goed uit. Eén van de betere cursussen die ik heb gevolgd!

Is anyone else having trouble with the video "Mixing Colours: How to Avoid Mud"?
It always stops playing around minute 13, both on my computer and in the iPhone app.
All other videos work perfectly. I think the file is broken.

The quality and range of instruction in this course is really good. Ella is a natural teacher, you get the sense that she genuinely enjoys teaching and she really breaks down each action into small steps and explains exactly why she is doing it and why it is important. This caused me to reflect more on using watercolour in an intentional way. I think this course was totally worth the colour theory segment in itself. I had never had colour theory explained so well before. Highly recommended.

Excellent course…clear and concise!

Ce cours est d'une grande richesse. En plus d'être une grande artiste, Ella est un excellent professeur. J'ai beaucoup aimé ses précisions sur la couleur : les couleurs primaires, mono pigmentaires, ou pas justement, et la conséquence sur le rendu plus ou moins lumineux ou terne des mélanges. Les exercices sont pertinents, enrichissants, très agréables et préparent parfaitement à la réalisation finale.
