The units of this course provide you with knowledge of calligraphy (written letters), lettering (drawn letters), and design digitalization with vector software such as Illustrator. Learn how to export your finished work for digital printing, stamping, or screen-printing purposes.
The final project is to design a piece of lettering for an artist of your choice. It can be a designer that inspires you, a graphic artist, or an artist from any other discipline. It can even be for yourself—you can take advantage of the project to design your own logo or personal image. The idea is that your design be used for screen printing or printing on t-shirts or posters or other supports.

The course is aimed at anyone interested in typography; students of graphic design, calligraphy, and/or lettering; and graphic designers who want to expand their knowledge in the field of custom fonts. In general, it is for anyone with a basic understanding of design and an interest in letters.
