Chiara Armando

Research, precision and empathy are my strengths.

I design and realize tailor made projects that reflect the identity of the place and the client's uniqueness. I constantly experiment different styles and materials.

I was born and grow up in a small town in an italian province , where the nature draws landscapes.
The constructions are my expressive language since always, contaminating and contaminated by the other great passion: photography.

In 2010 I graduated in Architecture (Environment and Landscape) at the Politecnico of Torino, after an ERASMUS program at the ETSAV in Barcelona.

Immediately I started my collaboration with VITACHIARAHABITAT Ltd. - Company of Engineering and Architecture specializes in the design and implementation of green building bespoke buildings , where I developed a particular sensitivity to the issue of energy savings. The cooperation has resulted in an important award in the competition "Wooden Architecture" organized by Lignus , National Association of Italian homes Prefabricated Wood and IN / ARCH - National Institute of Architecture, to reward the best wooden architecture produced in Italy in the last 10 years.

Alongside I continued until 2012, the activity of study and analysis, which began in 2009, with the research unit of the Politecnico of Torino at the Italian Archaeological Mission in Turkey (MAIER) in Hierapolis of Phrygia , now Pamukkale . In 2011, I took part to master degree - funded by the EU - in Archaeological excavation techniques in collaboration with the University of Genoa . Experiences that led, in addition to the writing of the thesis, to participate to the project of restoration of the North honorary access to the ancient city, called Frontino's gate.

From 2015 I have started the activity of freelance, discovering a special interest in the theme of the hospitality which leads me to attend, in February 2016 and October 2019, the highly specialized courses in HO.RE.CA. Design and Hotel Solutions Design at the Politecnico Of Milano .

Currently I work in Italy and Greece, through collaboration with the Society of Design-Consulting-Construction POLYERGO - started to experience thanks Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs at the end of 2016 - where I deal mainly for tourism planning, for foreign investors and locals.
